Daisy Egg Salad

Received a cookbook from the 1940 with this inspiration.

Daisy egg salad

The lack of seasoning was underwhelming so I dressed it up with some deviled egg additions. This little thing wasn’t the easiest to eat but it did make a nice presentation.

Final look?

Ingredients

-6 hardcooked eggs

-12 lettuce leaves

-1/2 mayonnaise

-2 tablespoons mustards

– salt and pepper to taste

-1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Slice the eggs into thin layers, removing the yolk and placing it in a bowel. This will add to the nice looking loops. Form the loops into a circular pattern in plate ( this will simulate petals) mash yolks and remaining ingredients until evening creamed together. Place a dallop in the middle of the rings. Can use a green bean or parsley to simulate the stem.

Let me know any adjustments you tried and how it worked out!
